No Limit to His Love

This is how we know what real love is: Jesus gave his life for us. – 1 John 3:16

It’s nice to be included. You aren’t always. Universities may exclude you if you are not smart enough. Businesses exclude you if your are not qualified enough, and sadly some churches may exclude you if you aren’t good enough. But though some may exclude you, Christ includes you. When asked to describe the width of his love, Jesus stretched out one hand to the left and the other hand to the right and then had them nailed to the cross in that position, so that you would know that He died loving you.

But isn’t there a limit? Surely there has to be a limit to God’s love. You might think so. But Paul the murderer, never found it and neither did Peter the liar. When it came to life, they hit bottom. But when it came to God’s love they never did.
